  6. Summary

    This solve was a bit of a mess. My cross, F2L, and OLL went pretty smoothly initially. Then, although I drilled the new algorithms until I was confident to use it in my solves, I forgot it in the heat of the moment. As a result, I had to do random algorithms from my muscle memory to progress in my solve, but this time it took longer than yesterday for a pattern I knew to show up. It doesn't help that I messed up some of the muscle memory algorithms either.

    I solved with a time of 1:14.41, which is definitely not an improvement from the first day. I'm sure if I did another solve today it would've gone better, but I'm still surprised to see that I'm not achieving a stead linear decrease in my solve times.

    For tomorrow, I'm hoping that I will memorize the "headlights" and "diagonal" algorithm for sure.
